Looks as if those letters are on a band different than the rest of the coin surface. Several areas of raised metal on the coin surface in dots or streaks, both on the obverse near F D (middle right) and the reverse along S R I A TH (lower left). Obliteration of 9:00 crown (lower right) which may or may not have occurred during the minting process. |
